David Oyetokunbo Oyelowo (born 1 April 1976) is a British actor, director, and producer who has been cast in the upcoming third season of the Amazon Prime series *Reacher*. His accolades include a Critics' Choice Award and two NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a BAFTA Award. In 2016, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to drama.
